Which Path Do You Choose
We can choose one of two paths to accomplish our spiritual healing and growth. One is easy, the other is hard. Each lesson comes with these two choices and we do have a choice as to which path we will take, although with many lessons, especially the challenging ones, a choice is not always apparent. We are aware of this choice when we are not afraid, emotionally invested in the outcome or have the belief that the greater the struggle, the greater the reward. Which path do we choose?
We often choose the hard path for many reasons, it is our past experience that life is hard, we don't know any better, we are sure that if we work hard we will learn more, are just a few. But the bigger reason is that we don't see options for an easier way out of our situation because many of our lessons bring up our fears and doubts and make us feel powerless. So we react instead of responding, do the first thing that we can think of and hope for the best. As you have read here many times, powerless choices yield powerless results.
We don't choose the easier path, the path of least resistance, because we generally don't see it. But that doesn't mean it isn't there because it always is. The easy path becomes obvious when we can practice detachment, are not invested in the outcome that we want to have, are willing to let go of the process and trust that we will be guided to a successful outcome.
That sounds so easy, why would anyone choose the hard path? But the easy path takes trust and faith, a willingness to forgive and to surrender-not give up, but remove our ego from the process and let ourselves be guided by the Universe.
As we approach a lesson if we can remember that we have the option to choose which path we will take through it, both paths become obvious to us. Both will require effort and our willingness to learn but the hard path will take us through it on an ego level; the easier path will take the spiritual route.
Whatever we choose is what is right for us - sometimes we need to take the hard path to remind ourselves that there is an easier way. Whatever path we choose the destination is the same, we arrive at a new place on our spiritual journey with new understanding of ourselves, our connection and our path.
Happy Birthday Uriel Heals!
The Uriel Heals newsletter has now been continuously published for 4 years, this issue marks the beginning of year 5. It has been an interesting and often surprising journey. When I was first asked by Archangel Uriel to write the newsletter I had two responses: "I don't know what to write'' and 'I don't think I am the right person for this.' But after several months of insisting, I finally began.
It was a daunting task, to write a newsletter each week that was read by a growing audience but the messages were always ready when I sat down to write each Sunday night. The bigger challenge was to let my family know of my spiritual work and they were not supportive; many of them still are not.
As I have watched the readership grow into the thousands and read the emails that many of you send me, I know that I have done the right thing by facing my fears and stepping into the work that was given to me.
Many of you have been asked to do spiritual work and beginning that process can be challenging. Where do you start, how do you find clients, how do you handle the business details and how do you know you are doing the right thing?
From my experience I know that you will be guided on each step of the path and the hardest part is to start; the rest unfolds after that. Writing the newsletter has opened the path to the spiritual and healing work that I have been able to offer to the thousands of clients I have worked with in the past five years.
This year will see many changes in the newsletter, website and offerings. I will begin traveling to teach seminars and classes, several books will be offered in print in May and have a few surprises scheduled for later this year. Please watch the website for details and contact me if you would like to schedule a class in your area.
Thank you for your support, for being a newsletter subscriber and for your kind messages of gratitude and encouragement. I look forward to bringing you another year of inspiration, guidance and hope in the Uriel Heals newsletter.
Uriel's Message-- Heal, Transform, Complete
There are several purposes to the healing work being done by all Lightworkers at this time. You are healing lifetimes of soul issues for yourselves, your soul groups and for humanity.
Your efforts are creating new energies of unconditional love and compassion. You are bringing completion to lifetimes of suffering and are participating in a transformation of the energies of this planet. The purpose of your journey is one of healing, completion and transformation.
The healing aspect of your work involves bringing forward wounds and karmic ties from all lifetimes, reconciling their lessons and moving yourselves and your soul group to new vibrational patterns. Your work allows the energy of these experiences and lessons to be transformed into higher levels of vibration. This takes them from the level of karma to unconditional love. This healing and transformational process is where you create new opportunities for connection, awaken the energy of compassion and shift energies at all levels of being.
The completion aspect is part of this healing work. When you are complete with a lesson you do not have to repeat it although you may presented with an opportunity to do so. If you are complete with the situation, if all of your energies around it have been healed and transformed, you will not feel the need to repeat it.
If not, you will allow yourself to be pulled into it so you can finalize the completion process. You are complete when you can hold everyone in the energy of compassion, recognize their need for healing as part of their journey and offer them your healing energy instead of your emotions.
Once you are complete with a lesson it is over and your part in it is finished. Others can take over the task of being healer for those in your soul group who need someone to participate in their healing process on an emotional level. Completion allows you to enter into unconditional love with others as you no longer have to participate in the lessons they had for you.
This week, look for lessons where you are complete and those that are in the healing and transformation process. Each one holds answers for you - where you need additional healing work, where you can apply forgiveness, release, surrender and detachment, and where you can know that your work is finished.
Today's Children--Parents as Friends and Teachers
In my family my parents, especially my mother, were in charge. There was no discussion, arguing or compromise where their rules were concerned. At least not without risk of punishment (parents spanked their children in those days).
If I needed help or advice I rarely asked my parents; I didn't have that kind of relationship with them. Instead, I had friends and others adults, including a couple of favorite teachers over the years, that I went to. Our Indigos and Crystals would not respond to this kind of parenting - they need parents who are more than 'in charge', who are friends and teachers as well as parents.
As a mother of Indigo and Crystal children, it was important to me that my children trust me and see me as someone who was willing to be more than a disciplinarian. And we developed a bond that exists to this day.
While my Indigo children had issues, we were able to communicate and collaborate to a much greater degree than I ever did with my parents. The new parental model is one that is built around communication and partnership, where parents are in charge but they are also friends to their children and teachers.
Parents still have to be in charge and manage their household but they can do so outside the confines of the strict model that many of us grew up with. How we interact with our children as friends has to do with appreciation, respect and consideration of their feelings and beliefs.
As teachers, we recognize their purpose and mission, their importance and offer them guidance and support. By providing an open line of communication we invite them to share instead of trying to guess what they are thinking.
This is especially important with Indigos as they want validation of their feelings and ideas before they will share them. And they don't like being told what to do, especially if there is no room for compromise or respect for their feelings. Crystals need gentle guidance, nurturing and positive support to get them to open up to their gifts and abilities. Anything less than that invites them to seek shelter in the safety of their own world.
These generations are here to show us a different way of being, to be in integrity with ourselves as parents, with our spirituality and our purpose. We can show them that the world can offer them nurturing, support and guidance by being friends and teachers, as well as their parents.
