Usui Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive hands-on technique rendered with love and compassion.

            Reiki can be used on oneself and others, plants, animals, the planet, for situations, to help with dispelling negativity for any reason. I even use it when sending birthday cards and letters...just so the recipient gets a card or letter that is full of positive energy.

          Reiki treats the whole body; therefore, it is wholistic in approach. It works on all body levels; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

          Reiki can be used in conjunction with standard medical procedures and religious beliefs without conflict.

          Reiki accelerates all types of healing. and may be used at any time with no contraindications.
         Reiki expands awareness and accelerates personal and spiritual growth.

          Reiki practitioners are never depleted by a Reiki session; instead they also receive an energy boost from participation in the Reiki process.

          Reiki is easy to learn and simple to use; it can be taught to children and even given to pets.

Leaning Reiki is probably one of the most life changing and exciting things you will ever do in this life time.

This is the stepping stone to learning almost all other energy/healing systems.

REIKI is the Japanese word for Universal Life Force Energy and the Universal Spirit. We are all born with REIKI for it is the energy of life itself. The Usui System of REIKI is a healing art that re-awakens and elevates this energy, channelling it from the universal power within and into another person or one-self. Through the hands and through the use of energizing symbols, REIKI is drawn not sent.

The amount of energy drawn is determined by the needs of the person receiving it, and it will go through any material, including clothes and plaster casts. Personal energy is not drained because REIKI is Universal energy - channelled through and from the collective universal power within by placing our hands on one another or on ourselves and through the use of a powerful absent healing technique.

REIKI was intended as a gift and still remains so, accessible to all. It is simple, effective and consistent. In my experience, one of the gifts of REIKI is the experience of the energy, instead of “having faith” that energy is present. Another gift is the feeling of being reconnected to my Source of Energy.

To become a REIKI channel, one needs a desire to learn, a commitment to use REIKI and an attunement given by a Traditional Reiki Master during the first degree initiation. The attunement will align and tune-in the energy centres of the student to the REIKI. This is a time of practice and learning basic hand movements for the treatments.

Once you have received level 1 then you can proceed to level 2 which teaches you how to send healing energy through the ethers as a distance healing. This works equally well as a "hands on" session.

The Master/Teacher level( levels 3 and 4) gives you the opportunity to pass this wonderful energy on to others and help them on their own spiritual journey.

This is the most amazing energy and can be used for any situation you can think of. Animals and plants love it and respond very well to it...you can even have your pets attuned to become Reiki Masters if you wish.

You can stop after any level and it will always be with you. then if some time you decide to continue then you can pick up where you left off. You will never lose the ability to use Reiki...even if you do not utilise for long periods of time. You only have to want to use it again and it is there instantly for you.
