Third Eye Chakra Exercises
The psychic side of the sixth chakra is called the third eye.
Its point is situated between the eyebrows just above the bridge of the nose, and it functions like an eye.

Many people describe it as a laser beam of light or tunnel.
It’s like a film projector that projects images and feelings directed from intuiting.

Intuition is a basic survival instinct of the unconscious mind.
Exercise for opening the third eye to help develop psychic intuitive
sight:

Place middle finger at bridge of nose and push up and imagine you are opening an eyelid. Imagine light moving up from your root chakra at the base of your spine and project it to the third eye.

Experiment:

Ask a question with your third eye, direct it down to the base root chakra, and let it settle.
Bring it back up with light, and see what your answer will be. Release attachment, emotion and
preconceived outcomes. Be open for what you receive. This is about processing information in the moment.

People who are more sensory instead of intuitive derive information from outside instead of from within and will have to practice more. There is a need to trust yourself and the information you receive even if it does not make sense at first.
If results are hazy then a chakra clearing will help.

Our society has become polluted and clouded in these chakras from too much stimuli and emotional trauma.
As a mental force the third eye is at its worst when it becomes the tool of the third chakra
with the jealousies, fears, greed and power plays that may be unfolding there.

When you feel tormented by an inner voice scolding you about what you should be doing, or ought to do, or what you did wrong, this is an overactive third chakra which is prevalent in our ego judgmental society.
Cradle the chakra which is located on the solar plexus and rock it like you are rocking a baby and tell it to hush.
These forces that cause you to judge yourself and others helped you in survival mode but
now you can send it gratitude while still encouraging it to evolve.
You can show love and forgiveness like this to each chakra

Chakras can be measured by a pendulum.
Lying down, have a friend place the pendulum above the individual chakras and notice how it is spinning.

Clearing chakras:

Layers of chakras can spin in both directions with light and colour just like mandalas.
Your hands are similar vortexes of chakra energy. Rub and shake your hands vigorously to clear excess energy.
Circle your hands palms down counterclockwise on chakras to remove stagnant toxic energy.
Shake the energy off your hands then move your hands clockwise for at least half as long as the counterclockwise to energize. Shake off hands after each one.

Explore intuitively or have a friend help.

You can work from the root chakra up or if the person is prone to headaches can work from top down. If you are trying to manifest work with the lower chakras, you can intuitively work with any chakras at any time.
Usually a women’s crown chakra spins in the usual direction for clearing and a man’s crown spins in the opposite direction.

Exercise:

You can connect chakras by putting a hand on each one and it will take about three minutes for the energies to connect, which is good when you are so ill you can hardly move.
Send colour and gratitude to your chakras.

Experiment:

Each chakra holds emotional impressions and information. Look at someone’s individual chakras and go with the first impression of images and feelings that pop into your head in the moment. Trusting your feelings derives from a healthy self esteem. Detach from preconceived ideas and emotions, and be open to the lessons.

Good closing exercise:

Making rhythmic figure eight motions with our body and mind help energetically integrate the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

Crossover exercises will tell you if the brain is crossing over. Put your right hand to the left knee and vice-versa. If it is difficult to do then the energy is scrambled. This exercise also helps right and left brain integration.
