CHAKRAS
In Sanskrit, Chakra means wheel and those who can see them describe them as spinning wheels of light. They are found in the aura, an electromagnetic force field which surrounds every living being. The energy of the aura is that of our thoughts and feelings, and the chakras concentrate and co-ordinate the flow of these energies in and from the physical body.
Chakras are described as being shaped like multicolored lotus petals or spoked wheels which whirl at various speeds as they process energy.
There are seven major chakras and hundreds of minor ones. In the aura the etheric, astral, and mental bodies are said to each have seven major chakras. The seven major etheric centers, which are most directly concerned with the physical heath, lie along the spinal column. Each is associated with an endocrine gland, a major nerve plexus, a physiological function, and a psychic function. The higher the position along the spinal column, the more complex is the chakra and the higher are its functions.
The universal life force, or kundalini, is said to enter the aura through the chakra through the top of the head, and is filtered down to the other chakras, each of which transforms the energy into the precise usable form of energy for the function it controls.
When the person is in good heath, each chakra clearly shows its own coloration, the number of petal "spokes," and its speed of vibration is even. In poor health their coloration becomes cloudy and their rotation becomes irregular and sluggish.
CHAKRAS may still be an unfamiliar Sanskrit word in our culture, but this word relates to seven major human energy centers that are essential to our well-being - and our ability to LOVE - regardless of our cultural origins.

The center of physical energy and vitality, the energy to succeed in
business or material possessions. Center of manifestations. Throughout
the ancient world in historical and mythological stories, the root
chakra has been associated with dragons and snakes. Dragon is a
symbol for the Kundalini fire energy.
Second Chakra

The second chakra is about friendliness, creativity, sexuality, emotions
and intuition on the gut level. It's influenced by how emotions were
expressed or repressed during childhood. The sexual center for women.

Location: At the base of the skull, at the medulla oblongata. It’s
location at the front of the head is between the eyebrows at the third
eye.
Colour: Indigo. A combination of blue and red.
Tone: OM (O represents the Sun or the third eye, M represents the Moon
or medulla.)
Element: Electrical or telepathic energy.
Sense: Thought
The third eye is the center of psychic powers and higher intuition,
you can receive guidance,channeling,and tune into your higher self.
This is the center that enables you to experience telepathy,
astral travel and past lives.
